A little bit about me

Hello my name is Ruby Logan. I am 20and located in Sandy, UT and my experience includes working at an after school program called Mobius in Rogers, Ar and being nanny for a family of 4. My job was to take kids to restrooms, get water, talk to the front office, and most importantly being the children’s friend. The thing I most loved about working there was working with kids and being a good role model. Being a big sister to a family of ten and growing up with little siblings, I learned how to take care of children and how their needs needed to be met. I have learned how to have patience and taking care of children brings me so much joy. I have extensive training in CPR and Frist Aid. I have extensive experience in working with kids and adults who have disabilities as well :) I would describe myself as responsible, clean, and organized as well as calm and respectful. I have a lot of experience with multi tasking and cleaning and making sure kids are occupied and happy.

Job description: As a Floater my job was to pick up the slack around the center by helping out in classrooms, taking kids to restroom, get water, go to the front office, take them for energy breaks when called on our walkie talkies. As a Floater I would also do laundry and clean the restroom and kitchen as part of my job. I learned what it’s like to make sure children stay safe and all their needs are accounted for all while keeping the center running smoothly and enforcing the rules.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment by fair is when the children you are sitting for run up and give you hugs when you get there. It really brings me so much joy.
