Hi, my passion is Childcare. I love when it becomes clear that I’ve successfully taught a young one a new skill. I have about three years of experience. Most of my experience is with toddlers, typically 1-3. However, I do have some infant experience. My CPR certification did expire last month, but I’m more than willing to get that renewed asap. I do not drive, but I can guarantee that I will be able to commit to a schedule and be there everytime. I genuinely love working with kids and helping the progress in their lives. I strongly believe in sharing kindness and I believe it is important at a young age to teach the importance of it and also make sure the child feels supported and truly cared for. Child hood is such an important stage that can determine how they feel and are at adults. I want any child in my care to know that I am there for them and that I’m always there if they need me because that bond at a young age is integrate on how they handle emotions and future relationships.

I worked for Kindcare where I educated and cared for children 0 to 5 years. I’ve stayed within childcare since then by babysitting on and off.

I enjoy playing with them. It varies on the child on what I do with them because I’m there for them. Meaning, if they prefer to play with cars then I will play cars with them. Or if they prefer outside play, I’ll play outside with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Any moment that it becomes clear I’ve become a safe person for a child. One of my favorite moments was when there was a 2 year old that I cared for at Kindercare. He was very shy and scared at first when he would come. I would sit next to him quietly or talk to him to let him know I’m always here if he needs me and I would reassure him things would be okay. The first time he ran to me and hugged me felt like such a victory. After that, our little relationship bloomed and he was very comfortable with me.
