More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I love supporting families through all the exciting milestones that come with early childhood. I’m patient, consistent, and always try to make each transition as smooth and positive as possible.
I use baby sign language to help little ones communicate their needs before they’re able to talk, which can make things a lot easier for both the child and the family. I also have hands-on experience with transitioning from bottles to solid foods, establishing healthy sleep routines, and supporting stress-free potty training. I really value consistency and creating a routine where children feel comfortable, secure, and confident as they grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For infants, Tummy time, singing and musical play, baby sign language practice, sensory exploration, reading picture books, and stroller walks.
When caring for children, I love keeping them engaged with a balance of structured learning and creative play. Daily activities often include reading and singing to support language development, hands-on arts and crafts, sensory play, and outdoor adventures like neighborhood walks or trips to the park. I also enjoy interactive games that teach foundational concepts—like colors, shapes, and letters—while leaving plenty of room for free play, puzzles, and imagination.

I have been working in child care for over 10 years now and I also have my AA in Social and Behavioral sciences with emphasis on family studies and child development. While I’ve worked with various age groups, I’ve primarily been working with new borns and infants through the toddler stage for the past 5 years but I am totally comfortable with any and all age groups.
