My degree is in child development so I have worked with children 0-12 years old! In high school I worked at an after school program for two years. In Morgantown I worked with infants to preschoolers at two different daycares. I recently left my job as a nanny for a wonderful and caring family in Morgantown, WV. I worked with this family for my entire senior year and loved every second of it!!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As the warm weather joins us for summertime I love taking the children outside for fun activities like hiking, playing in the water, painting, chalk, playing games or sports, and just running wild! On rainy days I like to play with inside toys, children’s board games, read books, play dough, crafts, and have dance parties!
My experience with special needs children...
My minor at West Virginia University is in special education. At WVU I was able to work with children who have autism and adults with disabilities. These experiences allowed me to have a better understanding of children with disabilities.
