More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an after school soccer coach in the Kansas City area at a variety of elementary and middle schools. I also worked as a mentor for children with learning/social disabilities and did exercise specific programs and educational activities. I have tutored children with FASD in South Africa, I also have tutored elementary kids here in the states with math and reading.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing outside, going to the zoo, swimming, museums. I love do anything inside and outside that piques their interest and that they enjoy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me being a nanny is that the child and family know how important I consider them and that I know it is privilege to take care of their child. I want them to know they are loved and cared for and we can have a great time together learning and growing.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children with severe special needs in South Africa. I was in charge of their physical therapy needs, most had cerebral palsy with a mixture of other disabilities. Also, in South Africa I tutored kindergartners with FASD. *three months for full time *

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the sweetest moment I've had as a nanny is when the girl I've nannied for two months lights up and runs to the stairs that lead to the front door and yells for me as soon as I walk in. Watching her hit new milestones is always so exciting, or when the parents walk in the house to me riding her tricycle to teach her how to do it haha!
