Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoying taking littles outside, setting up a blanket with a light picnic, bringing some materials to allow them to color or journal while I read to them in between solo imaginative play. I start this even with infants, just being in nature with them and a good book, snuggling and reading, then placing them down safely to observe the world.

My experience with special needs children...
I have had a few special needs children come and go throughout classes I have taught, always taking the time to connect with them, and communicate with their parents to learn how best to interact, and then checking in at the end to discuss how the day went.

Walking into my local library, and bumping into a family I used to nanny for, the little girl lit up with the warmest smile and yelled “my Obrina” while running into my arms and giving such a tender hug.
