The most important part about being a nanny…The most important thing about being a nanny to me is that you have to bond with the kids that your watching/working with in order to build a stronger relationship. I also think being calm helps a lot. Many times parents will try to put a little one down for a nap and not be able to, but then hand them to me and they will go down almost immediately. I have put a screaming 15 month old down in a loud room full of 75+ people. Kids usually really love me:)
My experience with special needs children…I haven't worked with kids younger than me with special needs, but I do hang out with some amazing high schoolers!
My favorite nanny moment…My favorite memory... there are so many, but if I could choose one it would be with my most recent kiddo. When I walk in the door in the mornings, she always gets so excited to see me and show me thing she had. It’s such an honor to watch these amazing kiddos grow and learn.
