More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Growing up, I had the opportunity to care for children in my neighborhood, where I was often referred to as the "big sister." As an only child, I naturally took on a mentorship role, helping to care for my younger family friends and cousins. This experience not only deepened my bond with family but also instilled in me a passion for working with children.
Through these experiences, I developed essential skills such as patience, responsibility, and creativity. I learned how to engage with children of different ages and backgrounds, tailor activities to their interests, and ensure their safety and well-being. These early experiences laid the foundation for my future roles as a nanny and pet sitter.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
- Snuggling up with books and helping little ones wind down for naptime
- Exploring the great outdoors through hiking, camping, and stargazing
- Setting up backyard campouts, obstacle courses, and scavenger hunts
- Crafting bird feeders from peanut butter and pinecones
- Cooking up healthy treats like homemade pizzas and fruit salads with my mini-chefs
- Getting messy in the kitchen or backyard - it's all part of the fun!
- Playing lawn games like badminton and giant Jenga
- Dancing the day away with my favorite little partners
- Creating treasure hunts and treasure boxes filled with surprises
- Teaching kids about nature, wildlife, and the importance of caring for our planet
- Setting up outdoor picnics and arts and crafts projects
I'm passionate about providing a nurturing environment where kids can learn, grow, and have a blast! Whether we're indoors or outdoors, I'm always up for an adventure!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Is being adaptable, patient, compassionate, and reliable. By embodying these qualities, I strive to provide exceptional care that goes beyond just childcare – I'm a trusted partner in the family's journey, supporting their growth and well-being every step of the way.
My experience with special needs children...
Including those with ADHD, behavioral and emotional challenges, and developmental delays. One of my earliest experiences was caring for a foster child who was transitioning to adoption. This child had ADHD and faced behavioral and emotional challenges, requiring patience, understanding, and creative approaches. I worked closely with the family to develop strategies that met the child's needs, fostering a supportive and loving environment.
I've also had the opportunity to care for a 4-year-old granddaughter who was born prematurely and was experiencing developmental delays. We focused on potty training, speech development, and following directions. Through play, gentle guidance, positive reinforcement, and tailored activities, I helped her build confidence and make progress in these areas.
These experiences have taught me the importance of adaptability, empathy, and personalized care.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Was getting a 1.5-year-old who resisted naptime to sleep soundly for his first nap with me. By observing his patterns and using a gentle approach, I created a peaceful environment that signaled sleep time. It was a triumph for both of us, and I loved seeing him relax and thrive under my care. Moments like these remind me of the special bond between a nanny and child.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Carlsbad, CA: Natalia R.
In high school, I completed two years of early childhood education, where I volunteered at the on-campus daycare. This experience taught me how to engage children in creative activities, support their learning and development, and manage a classroom environment with patience and care. I also have taken college classes on child development, personal growth and relationships, and psychology. Growing up with many younger cousins and siblings, I was constantly babysitting, which gave me hands-on experience in nurturing, problem-solving, and adapting to the needs of children of all ages. These experiences helped me develop strong communication skills, empathy, and a natural ability to connect with kids.
