I worked as a Camp Counselor at Dar Al-Hijrah School, where I supervised and engaged with a group of children aged 6–12. I also helped plan daily activities, supported emotional development, and worked closely with families to make sure each child felt heard and supported. Outside of formal roles, I’ve often helped care for younger siblings and family members, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities and routines.

I love planning hands-on, screen-free activities like arts and crafts, nature walks, storytelling, and simple science experiments. I also enjoy reading books aloud, playing pretend, and helping with early learning like counting games, alphabet songs, or puzzles.

One of my favorite moments was helping a shy child at camp build confidence by encouraging her to participate in a group storytelling activity. By the end of the week, she was leading her own story circle! Seeing that growth reminded me how much positive attention and patience can mean to a child.
