Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going on walks, going to play at the park, riding bikes and teaching kids how to balance on their own. I love swimming and getting kids comfortable with being in water. I’m really an outdoors person especially when the weather permits so I’ll have your kids outside and out of the house as much as possible!
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me most being a nanny is making sure kids are being kids and being themselves. Especially now a days with technology it’s hard to get them off of the iPad and out the doors but I am here to help with that I want kids to reconnect with the planet and make connections with each other, siblings, their parents, friends and everyone they encounter during their lives
My experience with special needs children...
My nephew has severe autism and is non verbal, but with just a little bit more patience and understanding of his specific needs and request we make it happen! He loves to jump and be picked up and swung around and I love seeing the look on his face and his bubbly laugh! Hoping to make your kids laugh as well ❤️
The most important part about being a nanny...
On one of the hottest days of the summer a couple years ago I walked my nephew to the park near our house! I was sweating bullets by the time we got there but I just wanted us to get out the house and enjoy the vitamin D. Anywho, we get to the park and instead of him running to the playground to swing or go down the slide he chose to sit and play with the wood chips and rocks, wasn’t exactly the picnic at the park I had envisioned but I wouldn’t trade that day for anything. He’s so playful even with just wood chips and rocks he was entertained for hours had to scrape him off the pavement when it was time to go home lol!!
