I have been looking after my siblings and family-friends since I was 10. I have worked for a family with two little boys (3 and 5), and another family with two girls (6 and 9). I also have experience caring for children with Autism. Currently, I nanny for a family with a 17 month old and a 4 year old, who I have been working with for a little over a year!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do arts and crafts and outside play. Because I am becoming a teacher, I always like to find places to fit in an educational moment! Play based learning is very important for children and I find one of the best places to learn is outside!

The most important thing about working with kids is making sure that you are always encouraging the child to learn or try something new. I think it is important to get creative with crafts and games that are specific to the child's interests or needs at the time.
