Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a daycare center from ages 16 to 17, where I assisted in caring for young children in a structured group setting. In the daycare I cared for preschool aged children. After that, for about 1-2 years I worked in home care through an agency, providing support to clients of various age groups. This included assisting with daily routines, maintaining a safe environment, and offering companionship — experience that translates well to attentive, personalized childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy spending time outdoors making creative hopscotch games, going on walks, and playing “I Spy.” Indoors, I love doing arts and crafts like coloring, painting, and making special projects for parents. I also enjoy taking kids to the playground, working on puzzles together, and playing board games. anything that keeps them learning, laughing, and having fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable to learn, grow, and be themselves. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with both the children and their families. Being a positive role model, helping kids explore their creativity, and supporting their development at every stage is something I truly value.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child I cared for create a handmade gift for their parent's birthday. We spent the afternoon painting, adding glitter (lots of it!), and writing a little card together. When they gave it to their parent, they were so proud, and their parent got emotional seeing how much thought went into it. Moments like that remind me how special it is to be part of a child’s everyday milestones and memories.
