I have experience working with children with special needs and take great pride in providing them with the patience, support, and understanding they deserve. In my previous roles, I’ve worked closely with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with developmental delays and behavioral challenges. I’m familiar with using individualized approaches tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs, and I’m comfortable following care plans, therapy goals, or specific routines. The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with children was when I was working as a child welfare case manager and helped one of my children I was assigned too. They had been struggling with trust and emotional regulation finally open up and feel safe around me. Over time, through patience, consistency, and lots of play-based connection, they began to look forward to our visits and even greeted me with a big hug one day. That moment reminded me how impactful showing up with kindness, understanding, and a listening ear can be. Seeing a child feel secure, valued, and happy especially after overcoming challenges is truly one of the most rewarding parts of working in this field.
