More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have extensive experience working with children in both professional and personal settings. My background includes roles such as a child welfare case manager, where I supported children and families through challenging situations, ensuring their safety and well-being. I’ve also worked closely with young children in educational and caregiving environments, helping with daily routines, developmental activities, and behavior management. I’m patient, attentive, and passionate about creating positive, supportive experiences for every child in my care. My goal is always to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that meets each child’s unique needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I truly enjoy spending quality time with kids and keeping them engaged through fun and meaningful activities. Some of my favorite things to do include arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading books together, and imaginative games that spark creativity. I also love helping with homework or learning activities that support their development. Whether it’s building a fort, baking something simple in the kitchen, or playing board games, I enjoy creating moments that are both fun and enriching for the children I care for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, supportive relationship with both the children and their parents. It’s about creating a safe, loving environment where children feel comfortable to grow, learn, and express themselves. As a nanny, I’m not just there to supervise, I’m there to nurture, guide, and be a consistent, positive presence in a child’s daily life. I believe strong communication, reliability, and genuine care are the foundation of a successful nanny-family relationship.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs and take great pride in providing them with the patience, support, and understanding they deserve. In my previous roles, I’ve worked closely with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with developmental delays and behavioral challenges. I’m familiar with using individualized approaches tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs, and I’m comfortable following care plans, therapy goals, or specific routines. My priority is always to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels seen, supported, and valued.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with children was when I was working as a child welfare case manager and helped one of my children I was assigned too. They had been struggling with trust and emotional regulation finally open up and feel safe around me. Over time, through patience, consistency, and lots of play-based connection, they began to look forward to our visits and even greeted me with a big hug one day. That moment reminded me how impactful showing up with kindness, understanding, and a listening ear can be. Seeing a child feel secure, valued, and happy especially after overcoming challenges is truly one of the most rewarding parts of working in this field.

Caring for children has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. As a proud mother of three and an excited first-time grandmother, I understand how important it is for every child to feel safe, loved, and encouraged to be themselves. I believe in creating a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn, laugh, explore, and grow with confidence. I lead with patience, kindness, and genuine compassion, treating every child with the same love and care I would want for my own family. My goal is to become a trusted part of a family’s support system, providing dependable care while giving parents complete peace of mind that their children are in loving, capable hands.
