More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I taught Childrens Martial Arts for Lifetime fitness from ages 3-12 years old for 6 years. I was an Olympic athlete for Team USA, and I've spent the last 3 years sponsoring upcoming amateur athletes to allow their dreams to become a reality.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I take a very intentional and well-rounded approach when engaging with children. I enjoy creating a balance between active play, creativity, and developmental growth. This includes outdoor activities like structured games, movement-based play, and interactive games that build coordination and confidence, as well as creative outlets such as arts, crafts, and painting to encourage self-expression.
I am very attentive to each child’s individual personality and interests, and I tailor activities to what naturally excites and motivates them. At the same time, I incorporate structure, respect, and consistency into our daily routine. I believe in helping children develop strong communication skills, emotional awareness, and independence, while also teaching practical life skills that will benefit them long-term.
My goal is not just to care for children, but to positively influence their growth, behavior, and confidence in a meaningful and lasting way.

The most important part about being a nanny...
is creating a space where a child feels safe, loved, and truly understood. I believe when children feel secure and supported, they naturally become more confident, curious, and open to learning.
I really value building a genuine connection with each child...taking the time to understand their personality, their needs, and what brings them joy. I aim to create a calm, positive environment where they can be themselves, while gently guiding them and helping them grow in a natural and supportive way.
For me, being a nanny is more than just providing care, it’s about being a steady, positive presence in a child’s life and contributing to their happiness and overall development.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child completely change their relationship with food, especially vegetables. When I first started, they strongly disliked them and would avoid eating them altogether.
Instead of forcing it, I took a patient and positive approach. I introduced small exposures, gave them simple choices so they felt a sense of control, and kept the environment stress-free. I also learned how to prepare and season the vegetables in a way that made them more flavorful, so they didn’t feel bland or unappealing.
Over time, their resistance turned into curiosity, and eventually into genuine enjoyment. What meant the most to me was not just the change in their eating habits, but the confidence they gained in trying new things. It was a reminder of how much impact patience, consistency, and the right approach can have on a child’s development.
