Yes I did some student teaching when I was in college, but I was 23 and I am 65 now. And I help raise 3 children 21 months, 3 year old and 4 year old and I have 23 nieces and nephews. So I have plenty of experience babysitting, and I know behavior modification techniques. And I will never discipline over the parents wishes. I do know old fashioned. Parks, walks, bringing Dodger over (my beagle) telling stories, playing games out doors and indoor games, and anything mom asks me to do with them.

Just feel needed and wanted, but I am NOT a maid I just don’t want to be abused, when I feel that that’s when I leave, if I can’t do things to surprise my employer and feel needed and wanted, and it becomes a demand job a nagging nanny job, I am gone so the most important part of being a nanny is feeling of being wanted no abused
My experience with special needs children...
I was put in special needs classes when I was a child, I have epilepsy, I was pretty bad when I was a child, but not anymore back in the 60’ not much was known, but I worked with the elderly as an aide they are special needs, and I worked in hospice, too, then I had friend who’s son was wheel chair bound, and needed care and I stayed with him many times, so I have some experience with the handicapped.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I succeeded a potty training and when the boy I was trying to stop hitting his brother in the head, will to tell you the truth he got it and stopped the behavior… those are the to bright spots and when the moms come home and feel relief the the kids are in bed and the house is clean and the can have a glass of wine and just relax, that too make my day😊
