A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Sanjuana and I recently moved to Washington DC for college. I am currently studying to become a Nurse at Trinity Washington DC with hopes of becoming an NP in the future! Im very optimistic, open-minded and love working with kids. I began working with kids since I was in 8th grade by volunteering as a teacher assistant at my elementary school. I then went on to become a science coach for middle school kids at Duke. I find that I can learn from them just as much as they can learn from me. I hope to find a loving family who's children I can take care of as well as help them learn new skills and do fun activities with!

Kearra J. - Seeking Work in Washington

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Washington, DC: Kearra J.

Hello families! I’m Kearra, 27 years old and an experienced early childhood educator and nanny. I’ve cared for children from 4 months to 15 years, with a passion for ages 6 months to 3 years. My journey began in high school and has led me to work with children with autism, ADHD, and various developmental needs. I’m currently in Montessori training, which has shaped my nurturing, respectful, and independence-focused approach. As Maria Montessori said, “The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn.” I support children through calm routines, exploration, and play. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping, pet care, and love arts and outdoor adventures like nature walks and parks. I hope to create a safe, inspiring space where your child can thrive!
