Relevant experience I have where I cared for children includes years of helping with younger and older siblings and cousins. I also volunteered with the Miracle League of Las Vegas last summer for my cousin who has special needs. I’ve helped with family friends’ children as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include going for walks, visiting parks, and spending time outdoors. I also love doing crafts, coloring, and simple creative projects that keep kids engaged. If the family allows TV time, I keep it age‑appropriate and balanced. I’m always happy to play with toys and join in on activities — I honestly have just as much fun as the kids do.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe loving environment where children can feel comfortable supported and understood while still following family routines expectations and values and building trust between both parents and children so everyone feels confident and comfortable and cared for
My experience with special needs children...
or about three years, I cared for a girl named Jaylen (Lulu), who has moderate to high special needs. We built a really strong bond — she would try to talk to me even though she rarely communicates with others, and she trusted me enough to let me do her hair, even though she’s very tender‑headed and usually hates it. Even though I don’t babysit her anymore, her mom still reaches out whenever she wants me to come do her hair.
