I am a caring and dedicated 23 year old worker with 6+ years professional of childcare experience. I have a bachelors in psychology and children and youth studies from Brooklyn College. I was a Professional nanny for 4 years under College Nannies and before then I worked in the daycare that cared for me my whole life. I have worked with children of all ages while babysitting and nannying while I also have experience teaching in an elementary school and high school. Other than wanting to be a therapist, working with kids had always been my passion and a genuine source of happiness. I like to get the kids active by either taking them to the park and playing around for a while, playing some of their favorite indoor games, or finding some educational or productive games to play just to keep their minds active or just entertained for a while.

My experience with special needs children...

I have only watched over two children, both aged 9, with autism and I always made sure that all their needs are met while also still speaking to them and treating them like other kids their age. I believe that progress only happens if you allow it and I try to help in those ways.
