My previous job was the program director at a Camp for campers with special needs. I work with campers of all ages who have various diagnoses. Some of them include autism, ADHD, down syndrome, Cerebral Pasley, rare genetic disorders, and more.

Hi there! My name is Ava! I am a 19 year who has been babysitting since I was 15!! I have a brother who is 12 years younger than me, so I got firsthand experience with a newborn!! I work in the children’s ministry at church (currently in the nursery). I love the Lord Jesus Christ! I absolutely love playing with little ones in their imagination worlds, taking field trips to zoos, museums, parks, etc!! I also love to help out in any way I can, tiding up the messes I leave at the end of the day, etc!! Also I believe in a more hands on Montessori learning style for little ones, so I always try to incorporate a fun learning activity or an activity to keep their mind going but to have some peace and quiet (like coloring, science experiment, etc)!! This summer (2025) I do have a few trips that are a week or longer planned, so I would need a family who can be a bit flexible if I have a family trip already planned!! Otherwise I’m yours when you need me!! :)
