More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m a certified general and special education teacher with over 15 years of experience working with children from infancy through college. I’ve also been a long-term nanny for three different families throughout my adult life, supporting everything from infant care to tutoring, after-school and bedtime routines, and even assisting with errands and home management.
As a mom of three, I understand the balance between structure, flexibility, and nurturing care. I'm CPR/First Aid/AED certified, pet-friendly, and highly experienced in developmental play, emotional regulation, routines, and keeping a home running smoothly. I show up fully for the families I work with—reliable, engaged, and always focused on what each child needs to thrive.

Nature walks & backyard adventures (bug hunts, rock collecting)
Arts & crafts (painting, paper crafts, seasonal projects)
Music and movement (dancing, sing-alongs, rhythm games)
Building and imaginative play (Legos, forts, dress-up)
Educational games (flashcards, puzzles, letter and number games)
Outdoor fun (bubbles, chalk, obstacle courses, water activities)
Simple science experiments (fun + safe learning at home)
Baking & cooking together (age-appropriate kitchen fun)
Emotion-regulation activities (social stories, feeling games)
Quiet time routines (calming books, soft music, guided breathing)
Video games (collaborative, age-appropriate games that support creativity, critical thinking, and fun—like Minecraft, Animal Crossing, or Mario Kart)

The most important part about being a nanny...
is creating a space where children feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for. It’s not just about routines or rules—it’s about building trust, nurturing their emotional world, and helping them feel confident being exactly who they are.
What matters to me about being a nanny?
It’s showing up with consistency, compassion, and patience. I care deeply about meeting kids where they’re at—whether that means sensory breaks, silly play, or quiet connection. As both an educator and a parent, I understand how important it is to support not just the child, but the whole family. I want to be someone parents can rely on and kids can light up around.

My experience with special needs children...
I am a certified special education teacher and have served as a consultant for schools across the greater Phoenix area. Beyond my professional background, I’m also a mom raising three amazing special needs kiddos 🥰.
My life is deeply rooted in understanding diverse needs—whether it’s ADHD, autism, trauma-related challenges, learning or speech difficulties, or medical/physical complexities. I bring patience, empathy, structure, and a deep sense of advocacy to every child I work with. Supporting neurodivergent and high-needs children isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am.
