A little bit about me

I got my first job when I was 12, babysitting my neighbor's 3 children and I have had a passion for working with children ever since. I transitioned from a babysitter to a nanny at 17, taking care of 4 kids, and I fell in love with it. I never saw myself as a nanny but I've come to realize it's the perfect job for me, since I'm a kid at heart and I genuinely enjoy it. I also have children of my own, which some people might see as a disadvantage. I definitely see it as an advantage, though, because not only do I have that extra experience, I also see things from a parent's point of view. I know how important it is to have your child in the best hands possible. I'm fortunate to have very reliable childcare, so that would never be an issue. I am very loving and very patient, which is probably why taking care of children is much easier for me than most people. Throughout the years, I've figured out how to balance out my fun side and stern side, so the children have a lot of fun with me but also know when I'm serious. I am punctual and I do realize that being on time affects everybody's schedule. I enjoy teaching the children every chance I get, so they get the most out of my time with them. I understand the impact that we (nannies) have on their lives & I take that very seriously. I want to leave the most positive impact I possibly can. I still have a great relationship with the parents & kids I've nannied for thus far & it has given me confidence in what I do.
