A little bit about me

I am a 21-year-old childcare professional with nearly 9 years of experience. My journey began at age 12 when I volunteered in my church’s toddler room, and by 16, I started working at an in-home daycare, where I cared for up to 7 children independently. After the daycare closed, I continued babysitting for several families for approximately three years before moving to California. I have maintained strong relationships with these families.
For the past two years, I have worked at Elevo, an afterschool program where we teach sports and focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). The company has provided extensive resources to enhance my skills in helping children understand and manage their emotions. Additionally, I have been nannying for the past 18 months, starting when the child was 6 months old, and he is now almost 2.
As I plan to relocate to San Diego in the coming month, I am seeking a new opportunity in childcare.
