I’m originally from Hawaii, lived there my entire life and nannied for years there. Had my son there and when he turned 2 I realized I wanted a change of pace, so I moved us off island and rebuilt our life as a single mom. I’ve been a professional career nanny for 7 years now and I’ve nannied for families both short term and long term, one family spanned 4 years. My philosophy in both my career and parenting is geared towards gentle and positive parenting, it allows boundaries and emotional regulation to be taught and absorbed well with the way it blends structure with nurturing.
