The most important part about being a nanny...
It would have to be the lasting impact on a kids life/behavior us adults can have on young kids. This is especially during the young years they're developing and learning their core values and beliefs. Everyone deserves to have a childhood and many kids are robbed of that so if I can make a young child's day but simply playing with them or giving them attention to make them feel important, I am all for it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment with kids was when I taught these 7 year old twins how to swim and the smiles on their faces were totally worth the process! Once they had discovered I was on a swim team they immediately begged me to teach them as their parents were never able to put them in lessons. They had a pool party coming up for their friend from the second grade and they were soo excited to be able to be included in it, it was well worth it.
