Hello! I have spent the past year nannying for the sweetest boy who just turned one year old in February. Prior to that, in 2022 I was working in special education from kindergarten all the way up to eight grade. At this job I helped students manage behaviors, big feelings, and help them accomplish their goals. I've also worked with local 4H groups and done newborn photos.

I love being outdoors, going to museums, and finding all sorts of new and creative ways to express myself! I also love helping the children in my life do the same and am ready to introduce them to all sorts of new experiences.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

During 2023 to the present day I've been nannying for a baby who was six months at the time I started working. It's been such a joy watching him grow, helping him learn, and having such a good relationship with both him and his extended family. I also take care of their four year old on occasion when daycare is closed.

I spent 2022 in special education classrooms as an educational assistant. I have also worked with 4H, taken newborn photos, and photographed dance competitions with a wide range of age groups.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love outdoor activities - hiking, swimming, color walks, gardening, and anything that helps them learn about their world. I also adore crafts and fun science experiments! Singing, dancing, and getting out lots of energy and self-expression is a must.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about nannying (or any childcare job) is making the children I work with feel seen and heard. They don't need much - often all they want is for an adult to acknowledge their feelings and listen to them.
