Hey Im Sasha and im 17. Im looking for a part time job to get money on the side to save for a car and college! Im willing to do housekeeping and work with 10 and younger. I know CPR/chest comprehensions and how to use an epi-pen and I know how to handle an emergency situation. I do not yet have certification in an medical care but Im working towards it and in classes in school training me to get these certificates. I'm currently working with DCF training for my 40 hours which will allow me to work in daycares. I'm currently in classes specifically for students who want to work with kids in the future in CHS. Im also really good with special needs kids, i help take care of a friends sisters who both had autism and had down syndrome. I love children and im great with kids. I'm currently working with DCF training to get my 40 hours, I currently have 2 exams left to take to get my 40 hours and by March 2024 I will be able to work in a daycare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to do activities that improve a child's developmental skills. Singing, reading, dancing, playing outside, coloring, and working on language and writing skills.

Quality child care is the most important part. Quality care will allow your child to feel safe and helps their development, their social, emotional and communication skills will improve and grow.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have much experience with working with children with special needs but I have experience in understanding how to care for kids with special needs as someone who has been around and helped with children and teens who had down syndrome and autism and as someone who has autism, I know how to handle situations when it comes to special needs and if I'm confused or don't know how to do something I'm a quick learner and will be able to handle kids who need extra care or special care.
