More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Along with babysitting and nannying, I have experience working with kids as both a lifeguard and a camp counselor. Those roles taught me how to stay calm under pressure, think quickly, and keep kids safe while still making sure they’re having a great time. As a camp counselor, I led group games, crafts, and outdoor activities. My background in lifeguarding also gave me a strong foundation in safety, responsibility, and emergency response, which I carry into every childcare job I take on.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending time with kids and finding fun ways to keep them engaged and active. Whether we’re doing arts and crafts, building forts, playing outside, I always bring a positive, creative energy. I enjoy reading stories, helping with homework, and doing simple baking projects that let kids get hands-on. I’m also big on balancing fun with structure, so I love mixing in learning games and activities that spark curiosity. Most of all, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where kids feel happy, heard, and free to be themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine connection with the children I care for. It’s about being someone they can trust, turn to, and feel safe with. Someone who makes them feel heard, valued, and loved. I believe that creating a nurturing environment where kids can be themselves, learn through play, and grow with confidence lays the foundation for lifelong self-esteem. Whether it’s calming big emotions, celebrating little milestones, or just being a consistent and positive presence in their day, I take pride in knowing I’m helping shape their world in a meaningful way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments has been teaching the little girls I watch some fun cheerleading basics, from simple chants to easy dance moves. They light up when they feel like part of the team, and it’s such a fun way to build their confidence and teamwork skills. I also love doing arts and crafts with them. Whether it’s painting, making friendship bracelets, or just letting them get creative with stickers and glitter. Watching their imaginations come to life and seeing how proud they are of what they create is such a rewarding part of what I do.
