A little bit about me

Hello! I am an extremely energetic recent college graduate with years of childcare experience! I just moved to Los Angeles from Colorado! My degree was in Art Education, so I have experience working with students in small and large classroom settings. My education has enabled me to be incredibly creative and patient. The past five years, I worked at a sleep away summer camp for boys and girls aged 11-18, where I was promoted to a management position at the camp my last two years. For one family, I have cared for their 3 children over night and for extended periods of time from newborn to age 7. This includes a set of boy and girl twins and their older sister. I have also cared for another family's young daughter and two older boys. I have experience with bike rides, swimming, parks, imaginative games, temper tantrums, diaper explosions, and more! I also was CPR/First Aid Certified for the past 5 years, however, they have recently expired. I am planning to get re-certified here soon.

I have held many art clubs for kindergarten to 5th grade students, and I student taught in a K-12 School. I worked at a summer camp for the Scouts BSA for 5 years in the Colorado mountains where we taught merit badges and made sure all kids were cared for.
