I remember a specific moment while decorating Christmas cookies with my kids, I was stressed about making the experience perfect and I was upset it wasn’t turning out the way I wanted it to. Then one of the kiddos mentioned how they were having so much fun and how they’ve always wanted to decorate cookies like this. It made my heart swell and I was so grateful to be able to experience the purity and joy something so small can bring a child.
