More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I'm a certified repsite care worker in the State of Arizona. I worked for a family with 5 children, 2 of which have downs syndrome.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm comfortable with taking kids swimming. I'm always up to taking kids to the park. I'll learn board games or card games they would like to play (I've never really played video games so I won't be much help with mario cart or things like that). I love teaching kids how to bake or cook (I won't let them use a knife to cut something unless permission has been given from both parents) and will ask for a list of dietary restricitons so I can know if there's certain ingrdents that needed to be subsituted or avoided.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I want each kid to feel happy and understood. I'm a big fan of hands on activites or a fun movie night. It can be hard to find activites that all the children of a big family may want to do, that's what compromise is for. I think there's always a solution that can be good for each child to find something fun, safe, and constructive of building healthy habits and relationships.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for a family in Arizona (where I lived before moving to attend University) for just over a year that has 5 children, 2 of which have downs syndrome. I'm a registered caretaker with a company called Lexington there.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Any times kids are laughing. Noise doesn't bother me (I have 7 sibilngs). But the best kind is when there happy squeals, running feet, and big smiles.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Rexburg, ID: Eliza E.
As the oldest girl in a family of six, I’ve been caring for little ones as long as I can remember—babysitting since I was twelve and nannying since sixteen. I’m here to encourage learning, imagination, curiosity, and creativity. I’ve adapted to all kinds of energy levels, whether it’s outdoor adventures or cozy story time. With a baby on my hip, a toddler on my leg, and a sword-wielding pirate challenging me to a duel, I know how to entertain! I have a big love for animals and lots of experience caring for them, so pets are a plus (not a problem)! Families can count on me for warm, dependable care, lots of laughter and a space where kids feel loved and free to be themselves. I can’t wait to bring that to your family!
