Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have four younger siblings, the youngest being ten years younger than me. One of my siblings is autistic and has ADHD, and I helped take care of him until I moved away from home. I don’t have paid work experience with children, but I did grow up having to watch multiple children at a time after school or on the weekends while my parents worked.

I enjoy reading to and with kids, coloring, and playing pretend, but I also enjoy walks in the park and playing outside!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is being someone that the children can trust (as well as the parents/guardians). Whether it’s being someone for them to talk to, cooking them lunch, or just letting them have their own space, I think truly caring for children is important because it allows them to create healthy relationships with others.
My experience with special needs children...
My youngest sibling who is younger than me by ten years is autistic with ADHD. He is verbal, but when he was younger he was not as verbal. While this is not paid experience, I cared for him for a few hours at a time to help at home and grew up learning how to accommodate him due to him being easily overstimulated and/or distracted.
