More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I’ve also cared for children includes consistently babysitting since I was 13, as well as frequently watching my six nieces and nephews. Through this, I’ve gained hands-on experience with children ranging from 2 months old to 10 years old, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, playtime, and helping with basic routines.
In addition, my work experience has helped me build strong responsibility, communication, and multitasking skills that directly carry over into childcare. I’m very comfortable managing busy environments, staying patient, and keeping kids engaged while also maintaining a safe and structured setting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun! Some of my favorite activities include going outside, taking walks, and finding ways to stay active and explore. Inside, I enjoy playing games, coloring, doing crafts, and helping kids use their creativity. I also love making everyday moments fun—like singing karaoke in the car or turning simple activities into something exciting and memorable. My goal is always to create a fun, positive environment where kids feel happy and comfortable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny, to me, is creating a safe, trusting, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and happy. It’s about building a genuine connection with them—so they know they’re cared for, listened to, and can be themselves.
I also think it’s important to be dependable and consistent, not just for the kids but for the parents as well. Being someone a family can fully trust and rely on is a huge part of the role. At the end of the day, it’s about making a meaningful impact in a child’s life while helping make everyday life a little easier for the family.

My experience with special needs children...
I do not have any experience, caring for special needs children at this point in time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are the ones that aren’t planned….the random conversations in the car, hearing about their big dreams, the hugs at the end of the day, and watching them grow more confident over time. Those little moments mean the most to me.

Babysitter Available in Phoenix, AZ: Madison C.
Hi!
My name is Maddie and I’m a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota. My majors were in biomedical engineering and biochemistry, with a minor in English literature. I’ll be starting medical school this fall (MD-PhD), and plan to become a pediatrician. I grew up babysitting.
During my time in school, I worked with the Hennepin county library system to deliver short STEM lessons and tutoring sessions for kids aged 3-12th grade, to facilitate a welcoming environment for kids needing a little extra help in school. Thus, I’m happy to help with homework or test prep for your kiddo.
Additionally, I have extensive experience caring for medically complex children, as I worked in as a EMT in the pediatric intensive care units and pediatric emergency departments in Minneapolis throughout college.
