Hi Families! My name is Selena, I'm 19 years old (20 in November) and I've been nannying since I was 13. I currently am not in school as i am trying to save up some money! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

The family I had consistently worked for in the past had 2 young boys. I got the privilege of watching them grow from birth to 5 years old. The family recently moved so I am looking for a new family to help out! While those boys were the main kids I watched, throughout the years I have had multiple side babysitting jobs of all different ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts with kids. Reading is also great for children. I enjoy having park days and running around outside when the weather is nice and maybe even take the kids for a swim!!

My experience with special needs children...

My little sister is severely handicap so I actually grew up helping special needs kids. Also, I would babysit for some of my sisters special needs classmates so I do have experience with different types of disabilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved taking the kids I watched to go swimming. I remember when the 2 year old I was babysitting at the time worked up the courage to go off the diving board. I waited underneath the board in the water to catch him while he jumped and he was so brave. He jumped off with confidence and was very proud of himself afterwards! His big smile not leaving his face the whole way home.
