"Selina has nannied for my children for two years, primarily caring for my toddler daughter, from ages 1-3. Selina is the best caregiver my children (ages 13, 11, and 3) have ever had. She has lived with our family for two years and worked both during the day while I was at work, and during the evening (including driving to kids activities), and sometimes overnight. Selina "checks all the boxes" - she is always punctual, extremely responsible and safety conscious, and communicates thoroughly and consistently both with me and with the children. She is emotionally mature: in a house full of pre-teens, she let their wild mood swings roll off her back, and never became upset or riled up. She is extremely respectful: she followed my lead with respect to discipline strategies and parenting decisions. She is flexible: she attempted to accommodate schedule changes and requests, and other plan changes.
I give Selina my very highest recommendation. There is no better caregiver for your family."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started working in summer camps, then I worked for six years in a middle school. I was also a babysitter. Since January 2023 I am an au pair in a family of 3 kids ( now 3, 11 and 13)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like music and dancing. I like to go outdoors ( playground, long walks). I also love to stay occupied so I try to organize indoor activities depending on the weather like museums, indoor playgrounds, aquarium, library etc…
Sometimes after busy days at school, kids just like to stay home but I want to make sure they are occupied so I love board games, paint, play dough, toys and maybe sometimes movie nights.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Kids are the adults of tomorrow. They are the future and I truly believe that everything start since the first day they were born. As a nanny, I want them to evolve, to learn, to be confident but most of all I want them to be happy. If I can help them even for a short period of time, my mission will be fulfilled.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have experience with special needs children. But I truly believe that with a lot of a patience and love I can make happy any kid. My goal would be to make sure that they are safe and loved. If I can make them smile everyday I’ll know that reached my goal.
Like all the kids, they need structure and a specific routines.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so much memories ! I had the chance to go to Madrid with 50 teenagers. We had so much fun. I organized the Christmas Day in the middle school I was working at and I created a choreography. But to be honest looking back I feel like all the conversations, and my whole experience with them are my favorites memories. Even if it’s not easy everyday.
