A little bit about me

I love working with kids of all ages! I have babysat for 13 years and was a nanny for a few families for four years. I love getting creative and spending time outdoors, doing hands-on activities, and working in routines. I have worked with children with sensory issues/emotional regulation issues for three years and have an incredible amount of patience with them as well as different ways to approach situations that arise that benefit them in the long run. I have worked in an early childhood center for three years with a variety of different children. I love all my kiddos and enjoy watching them grow! I am currently looking for a full-time nanny job to stay connected in helping the future generation grow as well while I am in school.

Hello! My name is Care Ives and I live in the North Knox area! My husband and I have been here for 4 years now and have absolutely fallen in love with this city and its people. Throughout high school and college, I nannied when I wasn’t at school. Caring for my kids, helping them with homework and experiencing life through their eyes made my days at school so much brighter. I lifeguarded in the summers when I wasn’t nannying so up until 2018, I was fully CPR and Frist Aid certified through both Red Cross and the YMCA. My certs are no longer up to date (they are very expensive to maintain) but, as I’m sure you know, those skills never really leave you— especially when you’ve had to put them to use in real life.
