I graduated high school a year early in 2021, and continued my career and passion as a childcare provider full time since then. I love to try new things; I put my whole heart into everything I do, I am passionate about the things I chose to pursue in life, for me the journey is just as good if not better than the destination. I am hardworking, fun loving, determined, & innovative! Learning is my favorite pastime, I love history, science, cultural studies, I enjoy learning about other people & their experiences, I ask big questions.
I believe children are their entire own entities & they have individually based needs that have to be met. My biggest job is to be part of the team; help create a safe space for everyone to be able to feel & learn so they can grow up to be a successful & most importantly, happy adult.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My time in childcare started as a seasonal Camp counselor, I volunteered here for 5 summers. Now I mostly just nanny, and I have been exclusively doing this for 3 years, after my camp experience. During this time, I worked for 8 months as a house manager/live in nanny. I also got the opportunity to work at a learning center where I was able to experience all different personality types of children. There I was able to learn so much. I learned a lot of developmental and general information about children ages 1-5. Since the learning center I have worked with several family, all with different goals and approaches. Some families were longer term, I had a family I worked with for a year. While some others didn’t need as much help, I had a family where I provided after school care, filled with amazing, fun activities, but only for 1-2 hours a day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

All activities, but I love doing arts and crafts as well as getting outside and playing. Dance parties are a huge favorite! Sensory activities are also very fun, such as play dough, sand, foods even. Development appropriate STEM activities will always be a go to, teaching kiddos things in a way that is fun and allows them to make it come to life is one of the best things about working with children. Overall, I enjoy being active and engaging.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny, above all else, is the child(ren) safety, it is above my own safety. It is top priority to provide and maintain a safe environment.
