im a mom of 3 they are 15, 13, and 12... I prefer to work in my own home, and have any kids dropped off to me if possible... My oldest girl helps me when I babysit she is the 15 year old. we live on 10 acres, I provide all food, and snacks, and juice, and I dont ignore the kids I actually entertain them I play with them, and we watch movies if thats what they want, I hate it when someone would watch my kids when they were little and ignore them it made me so mad, I could of set them a play date with a friend where they could have had fun if the person would have been honest. I keep in constant contact if that makes you feel better with Lotts of pictures, im not perfect my home isn't Betty Crockers home, but the neighbor kids always beg to come back over again so I must do something right. if you have a monitor and want me to plug it in while your kid is here I have no issues whatever makes you feel better. My kids will also keep them busy if they like the same things like video games
