My name is Shanna Piotrowski. I am a 51 year old empty nester with 5 adult children. Raising them was the best years of my life. I am grateful for the village of people who helped me raise them. I would love to support a family in raising their little ones.

I love to sing the over 5000 Girl Scout songs that I learned in the 9 years I participated in Girl Scouts and camp while growing up. I have an education in Environmental and Sustainability sciences. Eventually, I will study under a professor in Florida desalinating water using the same properties Mangrove trees use. I believe this is the worlds solution to large scale desalination, meaning fresh water for the entire world.

I am a natural born teacher and have been told by many I should be a kindergarten teacher. I encourage curiosity in children. I am patient, as I had the pleasure of learning the discipline from my 5 children that I raised into successful, independent, fact driven adults.
