Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy staying active and doing a mix of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Indoors, I like things like rock climbing, swimming, going to parks, taking walks, and visiting museums. I also enjoy things like arts and crafts, baking, board games, puzzles, reading, and doing creative activities that keep kids engaged and having fun. I like finding simple, hands-on things that make learning and play enjoyable at the same time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is safety, by making sure the kids are always safe, cared for, and supported. At the same time, I think it’s just as important to have fun and create lasting memories. I love planning activities, being creative, and making everyday moments enjoyable so kids feel happy, comfortable, and excited about their time with me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have limited experience working with special needs children, primarily through my job at Lifetime where I have supported a few children on the autism spectrum. In these situations, I focused on being patient, understanding, and adaptable to each child’s individual needs. Even though my experience is still growing, it has helped me become more aware of different communication styles and the importance of creating a calm, supportive, and inclusive environment for every child.
