Hi! I’m Shayna! I’m 21, and my passions include music, singing, family, writing, reading and children! I grew up in India, as my father is Indian, and this is where my love for children truly began. My mother has an orphanage for children with special needs there and some of my earliest memories were spent taking care of the children and getting to love them. I moved to America for high school and college, and I just recently graduated from Christ for the Nations University and am looking for work. I have been a teacher’s assistant at a preschool as well as a program specialist at the Boys and Girls Club of America, and I have nannied on and off while being a full-time student in Dallas. My favorite takeaway from the Boys and Girls Club was getting to teach the kids about boundaries, respect, love, unity, mental health, speaking up, and so many other crucial topics that could help them not only love other but also love themselves!
