I enjoy planning arts and crafts activities and playing outdoor activities like sports, building obstacle courses, playing games. I am very hands on and I believe that doing interactive activities and projects are very important.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked as a direct support professinal, and worked with adults that had developmental disabilities. I work in a childrens shelter that has had some kids come through that had special needs. I've been through some trainings that helped teach me different ways to work and interact with children with special needs. I also work as a nurse aid at an elementary school and work with children that were type 1 diabetic.
