More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been caring for children on occasional basis ever since I was 14. However, in the last year, I’ve also lived with six children for six months and from April-July was a nanny for three 4-year triplets.
As a lifelong artist, all the kids & I especially enjoyed regular creative, fun, and engaging activities together. I also ensured daily physical activity, even coming up with creative ideas when rain did not permit, such as following yoga videos or dance parties.
I am also able to meal plan and cook with regards to your family’s dietary needs, and perform light household duties. I loved to cook for my previous family and received regular commendation for my abilities.
I have always sought to go above and beyond for the kids I care for, as well as their family, resulting in relationships lasting far beyond employment terms. Throughout the past year, the families I have cared for have been an absolute light in my life and have taught me a lot about how to be a good caretaker.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’ve been an artist my whole life so I love to explore children’s creative abilities with them! I also get really excited about incorporating fun learning activities, like science projects, into our days. I of course love to get them outside, and water activities like sprinklers or small pools are so fun right now! Dance parties are also a favorite and yoga has recently become a fun activity for the kids I most recently sit on rainy days or when they don’t want to deal with the heat! Whatever your kids feel like doing, I’m sure I have a Pinterest board for it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ve really loved constantly improving my skills and knowledge throughout my experience as a nanny, so that I can better my caregiving abilities as well as help nurture a child’s potential. In these efforts, I have especially loved helping children I’ve cared for to learn to better understand themselves, their emotions, those around them, and most importantly, how to love themselves and others.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I wouldn’t call myself a “bug person” but I am the type of person who cares for all life, even the smallest… The triplets I most recently cared for had a fear and sort of spite for bugs, agitated by their other caregiver who was afraid of them.
Their reactions were kind of intense at times, so I started to show them educational videos about bugs so they could understand them better and their importance to our environment, etc. We also did fun activities to help reinforce the video content.
After all this, the kids slowly stopped fearing them and even grew an interest at times, watching them, asking questions, playing with them. That wasn’t always the case though, and it was really funny on occasion when they encountered a bug they didn’t know/like, they’d tell me “We don’t like bugs, you like bugs!” I thought it was hilarious they thought of me as the bug lady and even ended up getting an outfit with bugs on it that they loved.

Babysitter Available in Aragon, GA: Rachelle O.
Hi, my name is Rachelle! While I don’t have formal paid nanny experience, I’ve grown up surrounded by children and have spent years caring for them. I’m the oldest of my siblings and nine cousins, so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience with little ones of all ages. Being the “go-to” cousin has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to keep kids safe while making sure they’re having fun.
I currently work in a medical lab, but as a college student, I’m looking for a flexible part-time position to help with school costs while doing something I truly enjoy. Babysitting is the perfect fit, and I’d love the chance to bring my caring personality, energy, and reliability to your family!
