The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important qualities a nanny can have are enthusiasm, a love for children, common sense, patience and trustworthiness. Families trust nannies with their beloved child(ren) and they deserve a responsible caregiver who truly cares about their child(ren), has fun with them, and won't put them in harm's way.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience working in a special education classroom, and also have always had some students in my general education classroom who required an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). I have worked with many children over the years with a wide range of special needs and specific accommodations and modifications to their education plan.
