"Shikeem is kind, loving, patient, nurturing and our 3 kids love being with her. She’s known our 2 year old since he was a newborn, she knew how to soothe him and he fell asleep easily in her arms. My 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter love chatting with her, playing games or reading books. She’s energetic and can do it all— she takes them to children museums, parks, outside to ride bikes, stroller walks, she is a talented cook and loves to prepare the most delicious meals. She handles bath time and bedtime like a pro and my kids always trusted her positive authority. And even when my kids were melting down, it’s natural for her to stay calm and connected in the moment, and she developed a good relationship with all 3 of them. She also takes initiative to help around the house, picking up toys or washing dishes, sometimes as a mom a little help like that means so much. We will miss her and I know the next family she works with is so lucky to have her!"
