My name is Shirley, I am Puerto Rican, I am 27 years old. I came to Florida 3 and a half years ago looking for a better future. I consider myself a hard-working, humble, responsible, respectful, and helpful person. I am passionate about working with children. I love children. I took care of my nephews since they were little. Then, here in Florida, I started working in a day care center. I was very nervous and emotional. It was hard for me because of my language, but it was not impossible. I managed to understand the children and their parents and I learned a lot from them. I would love to have the opportunity to go back to what I used to do, which is taking care of children.
