I ran a daycare out of my home for one year. During that time, I had babies and children of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I would love to take the children to the lake in Estrella Mountain Ranch and take a picnic lunch for them. Sometimes cooking a nice meal, a birthday cake and snacks after school is fun! I love to play with babies, read, help with homework and sometimes just watch a good movie.

The most important part of being a nanny is keeping the children safe, happy and busy.
My experience with special needs children...
I feel like I made a big difference in a special needs/ special friends life. I worked for Macy's at the time and she would come in often looking for me. I would help to encourage her as she learned how to go up and down the escalator by herself. I would be at the bottom of the escalator cheering her on. When it was time for Christmas I got her a set of three Barbie dolls because I just wanted to see a smile on her face! One time, I put her in a chair on Wheels and ran around the showroom floor so she wood laugh. She had cerebral palsy and her name is Sophia.
