Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
all through my high school experience I volunteered at elementary schools as well as schools for special needs children. I also job shadowed at senior living centers and the local hospital. I also currently nanny a 1 year old boy and have been for the past 7 months.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love making kids smile and having a good time. I have younger siblings so I'm use to going outside and playing ball or chasing kids around the yard or simply playing with them and their toys inside on a day where we can not go out for fresh air.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important thing about being a nanny is making sure the children only ever benefit from my presence I never want to make a child feel as if they are unhappy from my care. It also fairly important for me to uphold the parent’s preferences of how their child should be cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
I volunteered at Webstreet (which is a school for special needs kids) for about 2 years and I had hands on experience with children who need extra attention with their school work.
