I also have experience caring for children with special needs, providing extra patience, structure, and individualized attention. In every home, I focus on being reliable, loving, and adaptable to each child’s unique routine and developmental needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love anything that combines play with learning. With little ones, that looks like music time (singing, rhythm play, finger songs), sensory activities, tummy time, and early motor games. I enjoy reading together, doing simple crafts, and exploring textures, colors, and shapes to support development.

Outdoors, I love stroller walks, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and letting children safely explore nature. Leaves, birds, fresh air, and sunshine always make for a great day. My goal is to keep kiddos engaged, curious, and smiling while building confidence and new skills along the way.

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting and nurturing relationship with both the child and the family. Children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and supported, so I focus on creating routines, emotional security, and plenty of positive connection throughout the day. It is not just about supervision, it is about truly showing up for a child, encouraging their development, and being a consistent and caring presence in their life. When that trust is strong, everything else falls into place.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had the meaningful experience of caring for a family member with special needs and being involved in their daily routines, therapies, and support. This taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and meeting each child exactly where they are.

Because of that background, I am comfortable adapting activities, providing calm structure, following sensory needs, and celebrating progress in whatever form it comes. I always aim to create an environment where every child feels understood, safe, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are the quiet little ones that show trust is growing. One that stands out was when a toddler I had just started working with reached up for me during a tough morning and gave me a big hug. It was such a simple moment, but it reminded me how much comfort and security a nanny can bring. Those small wins, like a new word, a big smile after nap time, or a cozy cuddle during story time, are what make this work so special to me.
