Hi I’m Skye! I am 18 years old and am ready for a job! It’s hard to find a job as a college student because I have not had a job in the past due to a busy schedule in high school and most jobs require past working experience. I would say I’m friendly and respectful and like to get the job done! I’m currently a student at Arizona State who is majoring in English but maybe child development in the future. As you look at my schedule you can see Friday-Sundays are pretty much free for me, but there will be some change in time availability for me on certain Saturdays due to football game days where I preform with the marching band! I am looking to occasionally babysit only because I go back home to my home state for winter and summer break so keep that in mind!

I have done some volunteering here and there but only for a short period of time at church and a preschool.

Like I said, I haven’t worked with many kids in the past….but I can enjoy reading, watching cartoons, playing with toys, playing outside….I can be active when I need to be.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny/ sitter is having a great connection with children. You never want to be negative or mean because at a young age any child will look up to the adult and will feed off of your reactions and attitude in good and bad ways. So being positive and up lifting is always key!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Again I was never a nanny, but I have younger cousins. My favorite moment was trying to teach my younger cousin how to swim. I am not certified and had parent supervision around me, but I am a really good swimmer.
