I'd be happy to do just about anything your kiddos want to do. Whether it's playing outside on the trampoline or playing house inside, I'm happy to follow wherever their imagination leads! And for the older kiddos who enjoy games that are a little less imaginative like video games, I'd love to connect with them through a shared love of gaming.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Getting to spend time with and getting to know the kiddos I'm with. I enjoy seeing how happy they are when they feel like they have another friend in you and feel understood. Making them feel important and loved is something that I think is one of the most important parts of this job. Making it not feel like they're just another job, but making them feel at home with you and like a friend.
My experience with special needs children...
I've helped out predominantly with kiddos that have adhd and autism. I would probably say these have been some of my favorite kids to work with being that I have my own personal experiences with these disorders because of being neurodivergent myself as well as having family that is too, so with that being said, I can sometimes have an easier time interacting and understanding them in different situations that many neurotypical people may not understand. I can try to help your kiddo feel safe and comfortable, whether helping reduce that overstimulation during sensory overload, or getting out some play-dough or whatever their favorite sensory items are when they need a little more stimulation.

I just got out of the military so I know schedules or more of an idea than a hard concept. I've been a licensed driver for 7 years and haven't been in any accidents. I love going to the park or strolls around the neighbor for fresh air and light cardio.
